'Smarty' is a continuation of our development within the 65 class. The design was launched in 2024 and used to evaluate performance across different competitive environments throughout the year. Predominantly, racing at club level enough data was gathered and overtime improvements were made to the design and the rig. For 2025, 'Smarty' will become widely available and we hope this boat will provide the alternative when challenging the more established designs in the class.
Rig Specifications
'Smarty' is fitted with 2 mast positions. Therefore, the skipper has a choice of using a combination of Swing and Conventional Rigs. There are various specialists who supply carbon tube and components for the rigs required for 'Smarty'. If you’re choosing to build your own rigs using a kit, ensure you follow the instructions carefully from your chosen rig supplier.
Hull Kit pricing
The carbon hull kit will come in the form of a part completed yacht, ready for the installation of the rig and radio equipment. Please refer to the ral colour website when choosing the colour of the hull. www.ralcolor.com
